Get the Right Car Insurance

The most important thing you must have before you drive any vehicle is car insurance.

The law requires that we have car insurance, but the minimum limits they set vary from state to state. For example, auto insurance in Oregon has the minimum limits set at 25/50/10 while the limits in Pennsylvania are 15/30/5 and Alaska is 50/100/25. Here is an explanation of these numbers:
o The first number is how much per person for bodily injury.
o The second number is how much per accident for bodily injury and
o The last number is how much per accident for property damage.

You can get the lowest car insurance policy limits although most insurance agents will tell you why it would be better for you to get a high coverage, depending on the value of your car and other property you own.

Your car insurance covers you and makes sure that everything will be paid for if there is an accident. You may be a safe driver and feel that you really don't need to spend that money for car insurance. You may be a safe driver, but you do not know if another person without car insurance will hit you. Then who pays for it? Will you settle it yourselves or will you need to go to court?
